Top notes are Grass and Mastic or Lentisque; middle notes are Magnolia, Lily, Honeysuckle and Flowers; base notes are Nettle and Galbanum. The morning after one of Marie-Antoinette’s glittering soirées, the royal gardener tends to the flowers—and the aftermath—in the Petit Trianon. ānti captures this moment in a fragrance that evokes ingénue lilies bathing in champagne buckets and the sharp cut of freshly mown grass. It is an ode to carefree decadence, to the fleeting, fragile memories of a night already dissolving into rumor. Grass and lentisk crunch beneath satin slippers abandoned in the moonlight, while lilies, magnolias, and honeysuckle buds wilt inside crystal cups stained with rouge. Nettle absolute and galbanum resin weave like forgotten love notes, threading through whispers of scandal as dawn rises over Versailles. "Working with green notes requires delicacy, as they can quickly become too aggressive. I had to surround them with an entire floral ensemble that felt luminous and springlike. Magnolia essence was perfect—fresh and radiant. It shares with honeysuckle a gentle floral character that shifts between bergamot, lavender, and basil. Another challenge with green notes is sustaining them throughout the fragrance’s evolution. Here, I extended the lentisk’s verdant quality with galbanum resinoid, and especially with nettle absolute, a rare material that adds an intense vegetal tone.
