Petra by The Nose Behind is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Petra was launched in 2025. Top notes are Mint, Tea, Pomegranate and Magnolia; middle notes are Raspberry, Coconut, Juniper and Papyrus; base notes are Vanilla, Frankincense, Amber and Musk. With Petra, The Nose Behind presents an olfactory homage to one of the world's most impressive cultural sites – the rock city of Petra. Developed exclusively for Marc Gebauer, this fragrance transports you to the legendary world of the Nabataeans, where history, magic, and the desert collide. The composition opens with an invigorating trio of freshly squeezed pomegranate, cool mint tea, and the soft floral notes of magnolia – a reminiscence of the traders at the entrance to the Siq and the vibrant energy before departure. At the heart, papyrus and juniper – symbols of rock, sand, and the rugged wilderness – meet coconut and raspberry, lending the fragrance a delicate sweetness and a touch of exoticism. The base exudes the meditative depth of sweet, velvety incense, combined with warm amber, soft vanilla, and a subtle musk note, evoking the quiet magic of the treasury and the earthy warmth of Jordan.
