Hero by Symrise is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women and men. Hero was launched in 2020. Hero was created by Maurice Roucel, Annick Menardo, Marine Ipert, Alexandra Carlin, Pierre-Constantin Guéros, Alienor Massenet, Emilie Coppermann, Stéphane Bengana, Nathalie Benareau, Christelle Laprade, Carlos Viñals, David Appel, Patricia Bilodeau, Fanny Grau, Philippe Papare and W. Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Bergamot, Mint and Ginger; middle notes are Iris, Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Rose; base notes are Vanilla, Guaiac Wood, Sandalwood and Vetiver. The cologne HERO, created cooperatively by several perfumers from all around the world, was born from Symrise's idea to create an olfactive tribute to caregivers, who are still fighting COVID-19 in many countries. "Borrowing its attributes from the traditional Eau de Cologne structure (citrus top, aromatic notes, orange blossom, etc.), it is enriched with contemporary notes such as Ambrostar (a Symrise captive), but also musks and vanilla. The whole exudes energy and comfort, through tonic like notes of mandarin, bergamot, peppermint and ginger placed at the top, the sweetness of ambrette seed hemmed with iris and rose in the heart, and the warmth of sandalwood, vanillin, guaiac wood, and vetiver from Madagascar in the base." - Distributor description.
