Fenaison by Sujet is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Fenaison was launched in 2026. Top notes are Dried Fruits and Cinnamon; middle notes are Tonka Bean, Cacao and Hay; base notes are Patchouli and Labdanum. Fenaison reinvents hay through a resolutely warm and enveloping vision. From the very first notes, an accord of dried fruits unfolds with rich generosity, electrified by the biting sparkle of cinnamon. At its heart, hay absolute reveals its tobacco and leather facets, softened by the creamy smoothness of tonka bean and the velvety texture of cocoa. In the base, patchouli and labdanum anchor the composition in a deep, resinous, and lingering sensuality. More than a bucolic evocation, Fenaison transforms hay into an oriental nectar—warm, addictive, and irresistibly comforting. “Sujet was born from the desire to deepen, not to multiply. To explore a material again and again, until its invisible dimensions are revealed. Fenaison proves that depth can be more fertile than novelty,” explains Ning Li, founder of Sujet. Fenaison embodies this philosophy. Rather than changing its subject, the brand delves deeper into it: how can a single harvest give rise to such distinct olfactory worlds? Le Foin was mineral and peppery. Fenaison is its sensual counterpart—oriental, gourmand, and enveloping. We sought to translate this alchemy: hay that, over time, becomes infused with softness, depth, and almost a sense of indulgence,” adds Ning Li. This evolution mirrors the very process of haymaking: time passing, heat concentrating, matter improving. Green, herbaceous notes gradually give way to accords of blond tobacco, dried fruits, and ambered honey.
