Armor is a conceptual fragrance by artisanal perfumer Diane St. Clair, created as part of a dual release with Sanctuary. Both fragrances use scent to address themes of bodily autonomy and were inspired by artist Barbara Kruger's 1989 work "Untitled (Your Body is a Battleground)." The fragrance is intentionally presented without a disclosed ingredient list, designed to evoke a specific emotional narrative rather than follow traditional fragrance descriptions. According to perfume writer Alex C. Musgrave's assessment, the fragrance opens with fruity, floral, and metallic notes, featuring a distinctive grape-like aroma paired with a saffron accord reminiscent of protective armor, developing into a resinous base.
