Obsidian by Perfumes of the Count is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Obsidian was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Mauro Uberti. Top notes are Mango, Ginger, Lemon and Spicy Notes; middle notes are Damask Rose, Spices and Laotian Oud; base notes are Sandalwood, Benzoin, Metallic notes, Earthy Notes, Frankincense, Honey, Cocoa and Oud. Obsidian by Perfumes of the Count is a unisex fragrance inspired by the imagery of volcanic stone, exploring contrasts between light and shadow, heat and mineral depth. The composition opens with a bright, spicy-fruity accord of mango, lemon and spiced ginger, suggesting the glow and movement of embers. At the heart, Laotian oud is combined with Damask rose and warm spices, bringing a dense, resinous and slightly floral character. The base focuses on darker woods and resins, with black oud, benzoin, frankincense and sandalwood supported by honey and bitter cocoa for a soft gourmand facet, while metallic and earthy nuances evoke a mineral, stone-like impression.
