Porthos

Porthos by Frater is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance for men. Porthos was launched in 2022. Top notes are Pineapple, Aldehydes and Bergamot; middle notes are Lily of the Valley, Petitgrain, Lavender, Mimosa and Rose; base notes are Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Heliotrope, Patchouli, Vanilla and Musk. Porthos, an eccentric scent on the edge of unsavoury, blends lavender Barrême (the finest and rarest of all the lavenders) with sweet heliotrope and the quiet growl of animalic musks. Aldehydes impart a mirthful sparkle whilst a touch of rose and fresh petitgrain add lift. A juicy pineapple note adds a touch of quirkiness. Creamy sandalwood, cedar wood and earthy patchouli meld with edible notes of natural vanilla and tonka bean for a fragrance that is soft, luscious, musky and eccentric.
