Philtre d'Ambre by Artimique is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Philtre d'Ambre was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Cristiano Canali. Top notes are Red Mandarin, Aquatic notes and Turkish Rose; middle notes are Red Algae, Cloves, Myrrh and Nutmeg; base notes are Incense, Benzoin, Peru Balsam, Labdanum and Patchouli. Philtre d'Ambre is inspired by the atmosphere of 13th-century Venice, where the air was filled with the scents of balsams, resins, and spices. The fragrance opens with a blend of warm and cool spices, a lagoon-inspired accord, and red mandarin. The heart features Turkish rose, myrrh, red algae, nutmeg, and cloves, while the base is composed of patchouli, benzoin, labdanum, Perù balsam, and an accord reminiscent of Venetian churches. The composition aims to evoke the allure and mystery of ancient trade routes and the cultural encounters of Venice. “The opening dances between warm and cold spices and a lagoon-inspired accord centered around Red Alga JE. The heart is rich with Turkish Rose essential oil, a delight when combined with ambers such as: Benzoin JE, Myrrh, Labdanum, Incense and Perù balsam, which linger into the base.
